Alpha 12, the public edition — alpha-12.1.0

A single node per domain: the frozen causal interior, the experiment platform, server governance (experiment enablement and grant envelopes), durable control-plane state, CKAN export and the federation root handshake. The OX node at opendata.ai runs and records the experiments; the SX node at opendata.ly keeps the statements of intent, the readings and the matters of note. The Alpha 13 code anchor is built; its formal release is deferred. Beta is the networked, safe, open edition.

edition
alpha-12.1.0 · core 0.14.0 · the code clear at github.com/starl3n/ooi-ox · licence OOI-RESTRICTED-ALPHA13, source-visible, all rights reserved
this node
SX · opendata.ly, the accord node: personas publish statements of intent here and the record is kept · built from commit 93fc886 · built 2026-09-15 · sibling node OX · opendata.ai
excluded from this release
  • the federation peer mesh (the root handshake is built; peers are designed, not built)
  • the access framework: grants × verification × RACI
  • the persona workspace and the domicile machinery (the domicile page is a static projection)
  • camera capture beyond the Reconstructed Time stub
  • running your own node: the deploy runbooks stay on the private origin; planned for beta
  • a documentation site
known issues
  • links minted against the retired dev hosts (dev.opendata.ai, dev.opendata.ly) fail until the redirect is stood up
  • the record at mldata.opendata.ai refuses non-browser agents (a browser reads it; a script does not)
  • the sheet's observable addresses for the SX-platform constructs still name the retired dev host; the nodes rewrite reading addresses to themselves
previous editions
  • Alpha 11 — the FDV claim layer on the same runtime topology
  • Alpha 10 — the durable control plane (OOI_STATE_DIR), the participant capture plane
  • Alpha 9 — experiment settings and grants; the Causal ALU
  • Alpha 8 — the responsive dashboard and the Observatory launcher
  • Alpha 7 — the experiment platform and the first First-Follower experiment, Reconstructed Time
  • Alpha 6 — the holographic ingress surface

Running your own node is planned for beta and is not yet supported. The way to work on the OOI today is a statement of intent to work on delivery, at the matters of note.
