The open workshop — one exhibit

One construct's construction record, standing at its own stable address. The register's laws travel with it: entries are operator-declared and dated as of 2026-10-24 — never auto-asserted; the subject is the construct — never you: reading this page records nothing about anyone (E-only, standing). The full record: /sx/workshop.

Exhibit — The Manim Explainer Series

lifecycle: draft · The capacity for the accord node to carry a series of rendered explainers (Manim) for both experiments and readings, in two registers that follow the house's two planes: the experiment explainer — discrete, measured, drawn in the style of the observatory's instrument plane, every number from the registered record — and the reading explainer — plain language and figurative, drawn on the reading's own document plane. Each explainer is created here as a workshop process; its render is pinned on the author's machine as the primary record before any external compression, and is published elsewhere only on its export grant, the external address then recorded beside the pin. Covering starl3n, endorsing Link Digital (the default seat); nothing rendered, nothing scheduled.

The enhancement enters the workshop on the operator's word (2026-09-25), verbatim, his spelling: 'I am interested in adding the capacity within the SX node to enable a Manim explainer series for both experiments and readings. What I would want to consider is a design style for discrete measurement styled explainers based on the actual experiments to follow the style of that OX surface as 'experiment explainers', and to then allow for the SX surface type of 'readings' to be the style for more relatable 'plain language' and more figurative explainers.' And: 'I'd like the design system updated to be ready for opening up a workshop item related to this type of enhancement, 'Manin explainer series' on the SX node.' The opening word: 'Open the Manim explainer series workshop item'. THE TWO REGISTERS, as the design system now carries them: the EXPERIMENT EXPLAINER on the instrument plane (Void; the one-hue solar ramp; the measured series in Solar Orange, the comparison in Solar Glow, exceptions as marks only; mono numerals; a discrete step clock, values replaced on the clock and never tweened; the camera still; five shots in order — the hypothesis, stated before anything is measured; the instrument; the run; the measurement; the record) and the READING EXPLAINER on the document plane (ivory, the figure on a white stage; the paper marks of The Unlearning — gold the grown, blue the word, red the price paid, green the held; plain words; eased shots of four to eight seconds; five shots in order — the question; the figure; the turn; the hold; read on). One frame for both: 1920x1080 at 30 fps, the house's two faces, a caption band of one statement. THE FENCES, NAMED IN ADVANCE: no number in an experiment explainer that is not on the registered record, the end card naming where; the measured claims about the instruments, never about a discipline's theorems; a reading explainer says nothing its reading does not, and marks a figure of speech FIGURATIVE; an explainer of a reading is part of that reading and carries its declaration; no randomness in any scene; no motion implying a claim the source does not make; the accord node never embeds a third-party player (a third-party frame is a third-party observer of readers); zero script. Nothing rendered; nothing scheduled.

His words verbatim, his spelling: 'I would store the videos locally currently, on my laptop, as I would want to render them here and pin them as raw binary files before then publishing them to a location such as YouTube. To maintain the local lock before any external compression this is my preference, so a folder that is git ignored as export_files yet carries the signature of the pinned artifact that is the primary record.' And: 'experiment explainers will be 'created' as part of a workshop process on the SX node and may get their 'export' grant prior to then being cross referenced to an external URL on a platform such as YouTube. This is a suitable process for now.' And, of the render box: 'happy to use something open source to make the process more reusable by others that might not hold such accounts.' And, of the master: 'Pin the MP4'. THE PROCESS, four states in order: CREATED (the explainer opened here, its scene source in the repository with it); PINNED (rendered on the author's machine into export_files/explainers/<slug>/ at the repository root — git-ignored from this act, never committed, never served; the master the exact MP4 Manim writes with its .srt captions; the pin — the sha256 and bytes of each file, the manim version, the scene source path — entered on the explainer's construction record; the pinned binary the lock, a later re-render never required to match it); EXPORT GRANTED (his grant, on the record); PUBLISHED (the master and its captions uploaded to the external platform; the external address recorded beside the pin). On the accord node an explainer shows as its record — register, title, the full pin, the state, and once published a plain link out, the platform's copy named a recompression whose bytes will not match the pin. THE RENDER BOX, open source: uv (the environment pinned by its lock); Manim Community 0.21.0 (no separate FFmpeg); Mona Sans and JetBrains Mono installed as TTF (SIL OFL); MiKTeX only where a formula is the subject; Audacity and Kdenlive where a narration or an assembly is wanted. THE ACT: export_files/ added to .gitignore. Nothing rendered; the first explainer its own act.

His word verbatim: 'the covering persona is starl3n with Link Digital as the endorsing - this is the default.' The exhibit opened with its seat unnamed (the persona his naming); the seat now stands on the exhibit's frame — covering starl3n, endorsing Link Digital — and, as he says, as the default for the house's workshop items from here.
