lifecycle: draft · The Foundations · 12 — the twelfth exhibit of the foundations series: the Hinge, the pinned baseline used for the first time as an instrument — two causal actors on one shared 'is', a claim an address on that ground, effectual to a horizon the ground's own catch laps quantise, the first resolvable difference emerging at lap 137; locked in its own time and given the context of the locks that followed. Two locks separated by time: the GROWN entry is the record as it fell, quoted verbatim and never contested, its interpretive readings marked as the record marks them; the OFFLOAD entries name the later closed locks that now carry part of its weight, direction and weight stated, never restating a count; the WALK is an offer, not a condition. Validated by the locks, never by the reader: a reader's curiosity is welcome and is not required for the knowledge to be what the locks say it is.
