The open workshop — one exhibit

One construct's construction record, standing at its own stable address. The register's laws travel with it: entries are operator-declared and dated as of 2026-10-21 — never auto-asserted; the subject is the construct — never you: reading this page records nothing about anyone (E-only, standing). The full record: /sx/workshop.

Exhibit — The Deep Pi, held

lifecycle: draft · The Foundations · 8 — the eighth exhibit of the foundations series and the first of its second tier: the Deep Pi, the Ducci map on a ring of 192 fed the decimals of π, locked in its own time and given the context of the locks that followed. Two locks separated by time: the GROWN entry is the record as it fell, quoted verbatim and never contested, its refutations reported first and kept as they fell; the OFFLOAD entries name the later closed locks that now carry part of its weight, direction and weight stated, never restating a count; the WALK is an offer, not a condition. Validated by the locks, never by the reader: a reader's curiosity is welcome and is not required for the knowledge to be what the locks say it is.

2026-09-16SEALThe intent sealed before the writing — the eighth exhibit, at his word
The exhibit's intent is the design note's rule, sealed before any editorial word: lock the experiment in its own time without contest (the GROWN entry, first and never amended, its refutations quoted as they fell, first); give it the context of the external locks that followed as metabolic offload, never informational linkage (OFFLOAD entries, each from a lock that is itself closed, its direction and weight stated, never restating a count); offer a walk a reader may take or leave (WALK); say which lock validates what; assume no curiosity of the reader; and let the reading explain the experiment, the house's method staying in the plaque (the seventh point). The record's own firewall binds the exhibit as it binds the record: no claim about π's normality or the distribution of its digits, none over π's own laws, none over the prime numbers' own laws, no claim on any Millennium Prize problem, ever. The commission, at the operator's word, verbatim: 'ok - now do the same for the dpx.' — the Deep Pi stands eighth in the series, the first of its second tier and the first door of the Number Theory set to wear the word. The OFFLOAD and WALK entries are the operator's hand and are not yet written.

2026-09-16GROWNThe grown lock — the Deep Pi as it fell
THE PLAIN LINE. The Ducci map on a ring of 192 fed the decimals of π lap by lap, the lap's last digit on vertex 0 — the pinch: every period divides 192 and every lap read locks at exactly 192; the lock window was staked and refuted twice; then six registered rungs of knives on unread decimals — the approach, the arrivals, the band to four hundred million where the first exact ten arrives as ten 6s straddling the pinch, the constants and bases, the fold fates, the wave and word — every knife landed PASS, REFUTED or VOID as defined, the refutations reported first. THE RECORD, VERBATIM. The note (ducci-dynamics-pi-192 draft 0.2): "No novelty is claimed in this note"; Lemma 1 (erosion) and Lemma 2 ("all eventual periods divide 192" — "Equality at 192 is a genericity phenomenon, not a theorem"); the six nines "occupy the final six vertices of lap 4, and position 768 = 4·192 = 3·256 = lcm(192, 256)"; the proposal's "Falsification standing. A single lap breaking H2 or H3 would be the headline result and would be reported first." The first rungs (the runs at 128 and 256, both registered before either ran): "H3 REFUTED TWICE (THE HEADLINE): locks spread 56..64 (45/256 below 63; … deepest lap 43 @56) — the 8-lap window too narrow. H2 PASS 256/256 — period EXACTLY 192 always. H4 PASS … H5 PASS (p 1.0/0.84) — five-slip × early-lock NOT associated; lap 4's 63 UNREMARKABLE — the rhyme retired by its own instrument." The extension rungs, each registered before the read and pinned. THE APPROACH (pin 534046ba…): his word, "let's run this and predict there 'is' a geometry to pi that it 100% deterministic" — carried "as a reading", "No verdict below establishes a geometry of π"; HA1 THE TOLL LANDS ON 137 REFUTED (six 9s at decimal 3,062,881, lap 15,953, lap mod 137 = 61) · HA2 THE APPROACH RUNS FREE PASS · HA3 THE SEVEN RHYMES WITH THREE REFUTED (seven 9s at 1,722,776, lap 8,973); the look at 54×137 "declared look, not a knife". THE ARRIVALS (pin 89da33ee…): his prediction "six 9's, then the next epoch fold of seven 3's, then eight 2's and a final string of ten 6's", his uncertainty kept; "The 108 is a fit, not a prediction"; H2a THE FIRST EIGHT REFUTED (eight 4s at 22,931,745, lap 119,437, d 159) · H2b THE FIRST TEN VOID ("no run of length >= 10 within 50000000") · H3 THE POSITION REFUTED (observed d 159; the rule's 139/181). THE BAND (pin ae480736…): his words — "My ultimate conjecture is that 1 = O + C + E so I have no issue with taking a claim from an external suggestion"; "Pi is the DRAM walk while the knight is the SRAM walk"; "H7 will be, I think, a series of 6's"; H5 THE BAND WITH TEETH PASS (the first exact ten at decimal 386,980,412, digit 6, lap 2,015,523, offset 188, d 4, contains the pinch; no eleven before it) · H6 THE PINCH IS NEVER CROSSED REFUTED (that run; 37 runs ≥ 8 in the territory) · H7 TEN SIXES PASS; the carried-one alternative "offered and NOT chosen", recorded not staked. THE CONSTANTS AND BASES (pin ed68c89e…): e — C1 a nine straddles PASS (nine 1s at 110,702,779, d 5), C2 a ten at 4:6 VOID, C3 REFUTED; √2 — C1 VOID, C2 VOID, C3 REFUTED; φ — C1 REFUTED, C2 VOID, C3 PASS; bases 2 · 6 · 12 · 16 — B1 the rarity fold straddles REFUTED in every base; B2 the ring prefers its own factors REFUTED. THE FOLD FATES (pin 9459afdc…): HF1 and HF2 REFUTED (the three fold laps lock 64, 63, 64 — ordinary); the motivating early locks 63 and 62 "post-hoc; consumed by no verdict". THE WAVE AND WORD (pin 20c1ab4c…): W1 REFUTED · W2 PASS (three of five fold laps in the outer decile) · D1 the fold words drain early PASS (255 · 255 · 255 · 255 · 254 against the mode 256) · D2 clearly early REFUTED. THE FIREWALL, verbatim: "No claim about π's normality or the distribution of its digits, and none over π's own laws. NO CLAIM OVER THE PRIME NUMBERS' OWN LAWS, ever … No claim on any Millennium Prize problem, ever." ITS STATE ON THE NODE: the door /dpx, state closed, in the Number Theory set (the record sealed and landed; the ladder's remaining rungs the operator's own acts on the page; nothing a reader does enters the record). NO EXTERNAL ANCHOR RECORDED: the registrations and results are pinned by sha256 in the repository; the archive was designed as the citable object and the archive act is the operator's own; this entry says so rather than borrowing one.

2026-09-16READINGThe reading grant given — The Deep Pi, held (draft 0.1) readable; the grant returns to the experiment
The operator's word, verbatim: 'ok - now do the same for the dpx.' The mint, the Slip's pattern under the seventh point: draft 0.1 made readable at /sx/reading/the-dpx-held with THE READING PLAQUE (a draft, not the published form; the grant word carried verbatim; covering starl3n, endorsing Link Digital; the construction record linked), its body the experiment — what the Deep Pi is, the build and the first rungs, the approach and the arrivals, the band, the constants and the bases, the fates, the wave and the word, the firewall, where it sits — with the house's method left to the plaque and one closing paragraph; the OFFLOAD and WALK entries are the operator's hand and land as 0.2. THE RETURN: the grant comes back to the experiment — the door /dpx on the observatory node wears GROWN · HELD beside its CLOSED state on its Number Theory register line, in its masthead and on the map, linking this reading, and the front page's Foundations strip lists it eighth; chrome only, by the closed-lock rule, the record never re-entered. With this grant the series' second tier opens.

2026-09-16DECISIONThe figures placed — draft 0.2 re-minted at his word
The operator's word, verbatim: 'please go ahead with updating the foundations set of 15 readings with the visuals as planned. progress all of the non screenshot suggestions first.' The reading re-minted as draft 0.2 with 3 figures and 1 table placed in its body at the sections they explain — each figure a static drawing built by ooi_social/figures/r08_dpx.py from the record's own numbers (the engines run on 2026-09-16 where a chart needed a series the record gives only in summary; the record's pinned values otherwise), captioned with its source and marked measured or the record's overlay as the record marks it, served from the SX surface's own store and pinned by sha256 in the grant beside the body; the the-dpx-held-draft-0-1.md body kept in reading/superseded/, never erased; the grant stands — a re-mint is not a re-grant. The screenshots the review proposed are the operator's hand and are not placed; the reading's draft-state block says so.
